Progress Inn is the DJ/production duo consisting of Janko Dragovic and Igor Kadic, originally from former Yugoslavia, now based in Perth, Western Australia. Both Janko and Igor have already had releases on numerous labels around the world under their respective aliases of dfuzhion and Vutex & Betex. A number of those releases had received support from some of the world’s best DJs like Hernan Cattaneo, Luke Porter, Ogi Gee Cash, Rey Santiago and many others. Now, as Progress Inn, they create and play a variety of music, but their main sound can be described as groovy progressive, techno, tech infused beats.

Together as Progress Inn they have started DJ-ing and releasing their tracks in 2008 and have already had releases on Obstacles Recordings, their own record label, as well as Vibrating Balance and Balkan Connection. The songs they have on those labels have been received very well in the DJ community. The release with their remix of Brisker & Magitman’s tune “Minority”, was charted #1 on the ProgressiveHouse.com promo chart pool. In the near future they have tunes lined up for release on Baroque, BeatGeek and Wandler Records, to name a few. The highly anticipated all Progress Inn second and third releases on their own label Obstacles Recordings are also scheduled for release in May!

The DJ act of Progress Inn has been hailed by many as an exceptional experience in which Igor and Janko seamlessly weave their broad musical influences through energetic and groovy music that always has the dance floor burning. Their combination of laptop, CD and effects performance has left many wanting for more at the end of their explosive sets. They have also supported numerous world class acts like Yousef, Audiojack, S.O.S., 16 Bit Lolitas, Riva Starr, Dubfunk, Jamies Stevens, Sean Quinn and Phil K.

In addition to DJ-ing and producing, they run their own weekly night in Perth, Lokal. Every Friday at BAR138, Lokal is host to some of the best DJs in Perth playing the whole spectrum of electronic music. Lokal is also dedicated to giving an opportunity to newer as well as lesser known DJs. It has become a favourite Friday night social scene for many where people of all sorts come together for a great night out.

In June and July of 2009 Progress Inn will be bringing their trademark energetic sound around Europe playing in Spain, UK, Slovakia, Poland, Serbia, Croatia and many other countries yet to be confirmed!
