Brett Valentine

Coming from a musical background at the age of 12, Brett Valentine one day discovered his dads Alva guitar and his musical love started there. Picking up drums and mastering the triangle as well perfecting his vocal range in the shower, he was destined to be involved in music.
Progressing next to humble Drum and Bass in 1999, Brett Started playing in the two piece outfit Tymed Conspiracy (with best friend Andrew Princi) Playing at underground raves, farm sheds, getting around with his decks in the boot, party time was any time and anywhere they could harvest electricity. They supported international acts such as: Dom and Roland, Rob Swire (Pendulum), Psi Dream and a string of others. Brett successfully promoted and played at one of Perth’s most successful monthly Drum and Bass nights at Velvet Lounge, Calm before the Storm.
The one time Drum and Bass producer is now fast making his mark in the house scene. With his debut release on Balcony Records ‘Nasty Nice’ (including a remix by US house merchants The Late Night Society), Brett has had great interest shown in his sound by artist such as New Yorks Miss Honey Dijon and The Sound Diggers, major players in the underground house scene.
Brett Valentine mixes up an energetic performance of jazz infused funky and deep house set’s, that keep the dance floor filled with smiling faces and moving bodies. Be sure to check Brett out at local nights such as Lucid Dreaming, Lokal, Geisha and Wolf Lane.
